This edition focuses on the principal commodities that contributed to year-over-year growth in U.S. containerized trade through October 2024. Volume growth for these commodities is projected through 2025.

Also included are analyses and forecasts of apparel and footwear imports. Like many other commodities, apparel and footwear import volumes were significantly impacted by the COVID pandemic from 2020 through 2023, with highly unstable volumes over those years.
